Let go of both sticks before measuring. The dot turns green inside the deadzone and purple outside it.
How it works
The browser exposes each stick as a pair of axes from −1 to 1. This page polls them once per animation frame, plots the position, and keeps a trail so intermittent glitches are visible rather than flashing past. "Measure rest" samples for two seconds while the sticks are untouched and reports the mean distance from centre alongside the spread — a stick that reads 0.02 steady is healthy; one that reads 0.15, or swings wildly, is worn.
Nothing is uploaded. It all runs in your browser.
